Craig Ashby

Trained as a traditional black and white film photographer, Craig approaches photography, video and sound with discipline and technique. Following specific methods that he developed over the years, he is able to explore the potential surprise that resides in familiar scenes, over time. Through photography, the fleeting slows, the invisible appears, the instantaneous persists. Energy is transmuted into a new form; suddenly revealed, sometimes unexpected but never diminished.
